attorney services

You are mounting a defense for an individual who has allegedly committed a sexualoffense, be it child molestation, rape, frotteurism, voyeurism, possession of childpornography or some other problematic sexual behavior. We can help you.
Our staff is available to conduct forensic evaluations of your client. Results are reported directly to you and confidentiality is maintained. We are also available as expert witnesses and can provide advice for SORB (Sex Offender Registry Board) hearings. In addition, we provide outpatient treatment services.

Forensic psychosexual assessments consist of clinical interviews and a variety of psychological tests that may determine mood disorders, substance abuse, trauma and cognitive and personality functioning. A risk assessment may be included. All pertinent legal and medical records are reviewed.
As clinicians we are well versed in the research literature surrounding sexual offending and treatment. This combination makes for effective testimony.

“When I represent a client before the Sex Offender Registry Board (SORB) I want my expert to be articulate, knowledgeable and to thoroughly know the facts of the case. One expert that I have used that meets these criteria is Dr. Joseph Doherty. I have used him in SORB cases and would unhesitatingly recommend him as a expert witness in matters of this sensitive nature.”
